Kingsbridge Archers
Kingsbridge Archers are your local friendly Archery club for the South Hams area. We started with a meeting at the Kings Arms in Kingsbridge on the 3rd March 2003.
Thanks to a few experts and novices full of enthusiasm an Archery Club was brought back to Kingsbridge. The club has grown from strength to strength with both adults and children taking up and enjoying this ancient sport. Since then we have grown to over 40 members.
We shoot at Belle Hill Sports Field throughout the year (weather permitting) and indoors at Dartmouth Sports & Leisure Centre during the winter (Oct-March).
Archers from other clubs are always welcome, and encouraged to come and shoot with us.
Getting Started....
To get started with Archery you need to attend a six week beginners course. Where you will learn the correct safe way to shoot a bow. All equipment is provided during the course.
The next beginners course will start 16th May at a cost of £30. Please email for more details.
We also run Have-a-go-shoots at outdoor events during the summer.
We have qualified coaches in the club and we regularly run courses. Please contact the club secretary for more information.
