Annual Subscription & Session Fees

Outdoor Session Fees are currently:

Adults £2.50 per session
Juniors/Senior Citizens/Unwaged £1.50 per session

Indoor Session Fees are currently:

Adults £3.00 per session,
Juniors/Senior Citizens/Unwaged £2.00 per session.

The Club Annual Subscription is currently:

Adults/Senior Citizens/Unwaged £45
Juniors £21

Most of the annual subscription is due to the affiliation fees. Like most UK clubs, Kingsbridge Archers is affiliated to GNAS (The Grand National Archery Society), this gives us our insurance cover and other support. We are also affiliated to our area associations, which are, GWAS (The Grand Western Archery Society) and DCAS (The Devon And Cornwall Archery Society).
Subscriptions are due on August 21st.

Equipment & Beginners Courses

We now have our own equipment to run Beginner's courses. Having completed the course, if you want to continue to shoot with us you will need to buy or hire some equipment. A new basic beginner's recurve bow and some arrows will cost around £100, alternatively there are often second hand bows available. The basic club equipment can also be hired at a cost of £1 per session.
It is also possible to hire a bow at £3.50 per week with an option to buy after a year; we have information sheets about this if you are interested.

Also an archery equipment supplier regularly comes along to our club to talk to us, and can advise those who would like to purchase new equipment. He is an experienced Archer who is well able to advise beginner's about what is suitable for them. He can bring bows that you can try but naturally there is no obligation to buy. The Beginner's courses use recurve bows, but you are welcome to shoot compound and/or longbow when you join.
